Vincent Crowley - Founder/Vocalist/Bassist for Acheron. Crowley started his musical endeavors in Tampa, Florida, with his ex-bands ENTITY and NOCTURNUS. After quiting NOCTURNUS in 1987, Crowley enbarked on his Satanic musical creation called ACHERON. While doing his music, he became more involved with Anton LaVey's CHURCH OF SATAN. He later became a Priest, then a Magister for the infamous Satanic organization. He also headed up a Anti-christian/Satanic organization called the ORDER OF THE EVIL EYE and published a Occultic Forum called WOLF-AGE Magazine. His interest in various occultic practices and Vampirism led him to the TEMPLE OF THE VAMPIRE (aka: Hekal Tiamat), where he was made a member of the "Priesthood Of UR". In 2000, Crowley resigned from the CHURCH OF SATAN. His reason being that he no longer wanted to be a member of ANY one group. Although, he is not Anti-COS, he still wishes to be a on his own, supporting all forms of practices of the Dark Arts. Presently, Crowley has reformed ACHERON and is also doing his other band WOLFEN SOCIETY with members of DARK FUNERAL, INCANTATION, and THE ELECTRIC HELLFIRE CLUB. He also write a Metal column called "Death Becomes Us" for Porn publication OUI Magazine. Crowley also did vocals for the band INCANTATION on their USA/European "Summer of Blasphemy" Tour. He also runs an On-Line Journal on www.livejournal.com, under the Username of DERWOLFEN.
Michael Estes - Guitar Master Michael Estes has been with ACHERON since 1996. He has been on "Anti-God, Anti-christ", "Those Who Have Risen", "Xomaly" and "Tribute to the Devil's Music". He is a key player in the present ACHERON sound. This Neo-Classical trained Guitarist is also in the band BURNING INSIDE.
Kyle Severn - Former Session drummer Kyle Severn turned into a full-time member, after the recording of the "Xomaly" mlp/mcd. Severn has also played several key shows with ACHERON, including South America. He will do his first ACHERON full Length album with "REBIRTH: Metamorphosing into Godhood".
Aaron Werner - Former keyboardist and backing vocalist. Previously played with the Columbus, Ohio based band SOUL DESTRUCTION. Werner is no longer working with the band. He is now singing for the Rock Band FURTHER LO.
Daniel Zink - Played drums for Acheron when they first reformed. Played one live show with them, then left the band due to musical differences. Now playing with the hardcore band PITBOSS 2000.
Jonathan Lee - Acheron's drummer from 1998 to 1999. Previously played drums for the band HELL ON EARTH. Also worked at ACHERON's former record label FULL MOON PRODUCTIONS.
Bill Taylor - Hired in 1999 to play Rhythm Guitar for ACHERON. Taylor used to play guitar for the band ANGEL CORPSE. He has presently played on several tribute albums with the band, including DWELL RECORDS' tribute to KISS, JUDAS PRIEST and BLACK SABBATH and FULL MOON PRODUCTIONS' tribute to KREATOR. Taylor is presenly playing guitar for the Death Metal band IMMOLATION.
Adina Blase - In 1998, Blase agreed to play live shows with Acheron. She had played several shows with the band, including some opening for DEICIDE and CRADLE OF FILTH.
Steve Bailey - Former live rhythm guitar player of Acheron. Steve also played for Tampa-based bands EXECRATION and MONSTROSITY.
Tony Laureno - Played drums on the "Those Who Have Risen" album. Tony also played drums on tour with MALEVOLENT CREATION and was a member of the band ANGEL CORPSE. Laureno now plays drums for the band NILE.
Richard Christy - This insane drum god played on the "Anti-god, Anti-christ" mcd. He also played various shows and fests with the band. He recently re-united with ACHERON to do a mini-tour co-headlining with DARK FUNERAL in Mexico in June 2001. Christy has played in the bands DEATH and CONTROL DENIED He is presently playing with the bands BURNING INSIDE and ICED EARTH.
John Scott - Former keyboardist of Acheron who played on "Anti-God, Anti-Christ" and "Those Who Have Risen". Scott also played with the band VAMPIRE CIRCUS. He left the band on not-so-friendly terms.
Michael Browning - Played drums on "Satanic Victory", "Hail Victory" and "Lex Talionis". Browning used to play drums and sing for the bands MORBID ANGEL, INCUBUS and NOCTURNUS. He also played in the bands DEACON SCREECH, ASH, HELL ON EARTH and is presently playing with AFTER DEATH.
Trebor Ladres - Played lead guitar in Acheron for only a year and played the Tampa Bay Metal Awards with them in 1995. Also recorded an unreleased demo with ACHERON.
Ben Meyer - Played rhythm guitar on "Those Who Have Risen" and did a Mexican tour with ACHERON. Meyer used to play guitar in the bands NASTY SAVAGE and GARDY LOO. Meyer also recorded the last album with El Duce (ex-MENTORS) before he died. Presently, Meyer is playing in a band with Alan West (OBITUARY/SIX FEET UNDER) called LOWBROW.
Joe Oliver - Played drums for ACHERON for a year and played the Tampa Bay Metal Awards with ACHERON. Also recorded an unreleased demo with Acheron.
Vincent Breeding - Played lead guitar in Acheron on the albums "Satanic Victory", "Hail Victory" and "Lex Talionis". Breeding was also featured on the debate video "The Devil and Death Metal" with Vincent Crowley and Bob Larson. After leaving Acheron, Breeding toured as the guitarist for the Genitorturers. He later quit playing music to do other things.
Tony Blakk - Played rhythm guitar on "Satanic Victory", "Hail Victory" and "Lex Talionis". He presently plays guitar in the band EQUINOX.
Troy Heffern - Played bass on "INRI" on "Lex Talionis". Was only in the band for a short time, when Crowley took time off playing bass. Former Deacon for the ORDER OF THE EVIL EYE.
Peter Slate - Played lead guitar on "Rites of the Black Mass". Before that he played briefly for the bands INCUBUS and MASSACRE. Presently, Pete is playing guitar for the band EQUINOX.
Robert Orr - Played drums in Acheron in 1991. His picture was featured on the European version of "Rites of the Black Mass" but did not play on it. Orr also played in the Orlando-based band MYTHOS with Crowley and Slate.
James Strauss - Played drums on "Rites of the Black Mass" and a couple early demos. Strauss is presently working on a musical project in which he plays all the instruments, in the vein of old ACHERON.
Bill Koblak - Played lead guitar in Acheron in 1990 on the "Future Release" demo and played several live shows. Presently, Bill is playing guitar with the bands LETHAL PRAYER, WARCULT and GOATROT from Pittsburgh, PA. He also did Vocals/Guitar for INCANTATION on their US Tour with CANNIBAL CORPSE and DARK FUNERAL.
David Smith - Played bass guitar on the demos "Messe Noir" ,"Future Release" and "Rites of the Black Mass (demo)". Previously he played with the band SATHANAS. Smith later left the band to join the military.
Michael Smith - The original vocalist for ACHERON, who sang on the demos "Messe Noir" and "Future Release". Smith was later arrested for assault and battery and was sent to jail. He has been in and out of prison ever since. Smith used to be the closest sounding voice to Bathory's Quorthon.
Ron Hogue - Played drums on the "Messe Noir" demo and did many shows with ACHERON when the band first started out.
Peter H. Gilmore - He has created intros for ACHERON since their first demo. Gilmore is also the new High Priest for the Church of Satan and the editor of the magazine THE BLACK FLAME. Gilmore was featured all almost every ACHERON release from the "Messe Noir" demo to ACHERON's last full length album "Those Who Have Risen". He is no longer working with the band.
